Tailwheel airplanes are FUN! From Cub to Stearman to Pitts to Extra, etc. taildraggers are more demanding, challenging and REWARDING to fly and require training and an endorsement to act as PIC. The Super Decathlon is the ideal platform for transition to tailwheel flying due to its forgiving ground and flight characteristics.  Most pilots can complete the training and earn the endorsement within 5-6 hours.
